Yeah I think that's a decent shout.CountryRoyal wrote:If he does go to Bayern that’s got to be the biggest club any of our players have gone to immediately following us right?
In ‘recent’ years Sidwell to Chelsea was a shout, but Bayern is a much bigger club than CheLOLski.
I would say in terms of success, there isn't a whole lot of difference between the Chelsea of 2007 and the Bayern of 2021CountryRoyal wrote:If he does go to Bayern that’s got to be the biggest club any of our players have gone to immediately following us right?

Gylfi could've gone to a much bigger club than Hoffenheim, IMO.
Shit. Forgot about that. South Coast Barcelona and all that.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Norwood to Brighton?Hendo wrote:Yeah I think that's a decent shout.CountryRoyal wrote:If he does go to Bayern that’s got to be the biggest club any of our players have gone to immediately following us right?

Yeah it’s a good point, but in terms of club ‘size’ with (the metrics being) - revenue, fan base, history trophies there is no comparison.tidus_mi2 wrote:I would say in terms of success, there isn't a whole lot of difference between the Chelsea of 2007 and the Bayern of 2021CountryRoyal wrote:If he does go to Bayern that’s got to be the biggest club any of our players have gone to immediately following us right?

He wouldn’t need to go to Munich though. There are plenty of perfectly competent medics within a short drive of the Madejski, I don’t think it would be unusual for a club to commission a specialist to carry out a medical for them. If they wanted a club employee to be involved they could sit in on medical remotely and request details, extra tests etc as they went.Stranded wrote:Well Tom Holmes has told RIchards over Instagram to "Sign da ting" so unless he is talking about the Bayern pre-agreement then who knows what is going on.
Interesting* that all the "news" suggests the deal is still reliant on him passing a medical. Obviously the pandemic is making the ability to get to Munich to do one close to impossible. The Upamecano deal wouldn't have had that problem and a medical has likely taken place.
Glenn Burvill went to Aldersh*t.Hendo wrote:Shit. Forgot about that. South Coast Barcelona and all that.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Norwood to Brighton?Hendo wrote:

I’m sure you’ve all heard that story before, though
Not entirely sure why he’d be going on about missing such a sitter, but there you goPepe the Horseman wrote:Yeh, Glenn never shuts up about it.Franchise FC wrote:Glenn Burvill saved me from a beating at BurnleySutekh wrote:

Head turned by the interest. Lost the application to succeed. Loader is hardly making waves in the Porto B team. Who sit bottom of the division 2 league.Zip wrote:Not sure what’s happened. Omar was absolutely outstanding pre injury but been oridinary since and really poor today. I would still see him as comfortably first choice though.
Maybe so yet still no contract signed with Bayern.Lower West wrote:Head turned by the interest. Lost the application to succeed. Loader is hardly making waves in the Porto B team. Whole team has been in bad form since then, except for Morrison and McIntyre. Did they all get approached by Bayern too?Lower West wrote:Head turned by the interest. Lost the application to succeed. McIntyre might well be if he keeps playing like he hasSCIAG wrote:Whole team has been in bad form since then, except for Morrison and McIntyre.
