Allowing Eze’s goal to stand after last week was just daft. 2 players in offside positions moving across the ‘keeper’s vision, converging on his exact line of sight to Eze at the moment he shot.

Vicario managed to get a hand to it because it was quite close to him. He would almost certainly have saved it if those players had not obscured his view.

In that case should Keane not have been sent off for putting his head into Gueye's face?

I dunno, maybe it's letter of the law crap but from what I saw it wasn't a proper slap, was far from violent conduct, and could / should have just been sorted with a stern warning to grow the fcuk up.

it's the 'unless the force used was negligible' that my point was about. for me that was just a total nothing incident. 2 teammates briefly argued and one shoved the other not very hard.
