They've got bugger all to complain about.

It was a stonewall penalty to us and a clear red. They then shit the bed for 10 minutes to go 0-3 down at home. Slowly got back into the game and took a dreadful penalty to fail to get back to 2-3. They maybe missed out on a second pen in the immediate aftermath, but it would have been a soft one. We then polished them off and tbh could have had a couple more.

Not a lot really. Couple of comments saying we were well coached.

"Played for a draw, nicked a win"

And probably the most accurate "Reading didn't deserve the win but we didn't trouble their keeper".

Sounds fair.

We controlled possession for once, but rarely threatened, they got in a bit but looked blunt and we defended it well enough.

It felt like a tactical battle were both teams cancel each other out quite a lot.

Yeah I've seen comments saying we didn't do much but frankly, neither did they. We both had one big opportunity but otherwise it was very much a 0-0 that we nicked with a worldie

On their match thread, this first one aged well

Absolute jokers. Reading are absolute dross and we’ve given them a point

A much better away performance BUT we didn’t make their keeper work enough. Reading defended well and took their 2 chances. One as a result of a poor header from Pennington, and an excellent header for the second. We looked weak up front all game really. Wheatley is poor, and forward passes and crosses were poor too.

Frustrating afternoon. Reading deserved it for sticking at it.

I wouldn`t mind either
Reading were so poor yet we hand them the game. I wouldn’t mind them in the play offs based on that. But we looked knackered and waiting to concede.

That`s the best I can do, most of it was slagging off their manager.

Did seem to be some complaints we'd be familiar with, criticising the manager for making defensive changes at 1-0 rather than going for the throat.

funny that - Bradford's game management reminded me very strongly of ours. Absolutely terrible, thankfully.

Yep if you can go on their forum and pull some quotes to share with us that would be great.

Yeah, this. Had a quick look at two of their forums. One has fewer posts than this place when it crashes and the other has a user interface out of the ark which gave me a migraine.

Willshire's tactics and substitutions and Naismith's footballing ability.

I found this: "Probably the worst closing out of a match I've ever seen. However hard anyone tries to justify yesterday, you simply can’t. After two years of awful football, countless apologies, and even a statement from the players before kick-off… that’s what we get. From a board sitting on their hands, to lacklustre press conferences, poor recruitment, and the same individual mistakes happening week after week — the season is gone. Not because of one game, but because of everything that led to it."

Sounds like our board following the Wimbledon game really ... terrible football: tick; poor recruitment: tick ... the season is gone: tick ...

The second goal, we still had to do a bit of work to score but the first and third were comical. The first, not just the header back in to the box, but the player covering Kelvin made a feeble attempt to head it back to the keeper a got, well, not even out muscled, just gave up.

The third, well everyone can take a heavy touch but you've just been pulled back to 2-2 after looking reasonably comfortable, just relieve the pressure and put your boot through the ball. At least you're giving away possession 60yds further up the pitch.
