….then maybe, we also have the wrong players…..get rid.

Plenty of young keen players ready and willing in the NL circuits

Can’t see how anyone retained from this seasons debacle would be happy buying in to another season of
Richardson’s nonsense.

Maybe the wages help a little bit, that, and them (with the odd exception) not being of any interest to other teams.

Out of that retained list I wouldn`t be surprised if Wing Savage and JP push for a move away. nothing excites me about any of the others.

Would be disappointed with that but could see it coming, do think Joel is a bit overrated though, him getting 3rd in POTS a testament to that when I think he overall had a pretty poor season by the standards he set the season before.

He's on 9 grand a week, He will milk every last penny out of his contract.

Some of these wages are shocking, Mark O'mahony second highest earner WTF

He can ‘milk’ it all he wants as long as he jigs and dances into the box, and puts in the balls for our forwards to slot home.
Played a pearler for Kelvs’ hattrick….and some others.

yeah i dont disagree, his assists and Goals to minutes ratio is really good. I think hes been OK. was just a gut feeling that he would retire. if he wants to stay fair enough.

Helps when you are the only one willing to put a cross in, pearler or otherwise.

He will fulfil his contract, as will we. The same as anyone would. It's not "milking" - do you "milk" your employer by being paid your wage? Would you quit for the greater good of the company?

It's up to us how much we play him.

He had a bit of a patch where he made some absolute howlers but made up for it by some tremendous saves in other games - overall, I'd say he deserves his nomination. But I'm not sure he'd quite cut it in the Championship where generally the standard of play is much higher ... this is generally the case, with the gap between League 1 and the Champ widening year by year I feel.

Holy shit, we could've got two Kamari Doyle's for the price of Mark O'Mahoney!! Our loanee's wages were astronomical and to be fair only Doyle was pretty decent. We could've saved ourselves a ton of money be utilizing the academy youngsters in lieu.

Is that what PL clubs are paying Academy “stars”? Ridiculous that Reading agreed to take him for that money.

I wouldn't trust the wages listed for loanees on SalarySport as an accurate reflection of what we're actually paying them.

They listed Baba Rahman and Jeff Hendricks as being paid £80k and £45k a week when they were with us.

I would trust it as a reasonably accurate source for our players though.

Gabriel Osho is apparently on £21k a week at Cardiff, Wareham £3.1k a week at Exeter.

Brighton could have been paying half the wages, but even at that they had our trousers down for sure.

Oh, for sure but I don't believe he was our second biggest wage.
