.....fingers crossed!cmonurz wrote:As above, unbeaten at home for a year, and unbeaten in 17 league games home and away. McLeish has done a terrific job at St Andrews.
Liverpool won't win the title this season, or even get near it - this season is about Hodgson making his mark on the squad. There was a season a few years back where Liverpool won 85% of their games in the second half of the season, after cocking it up by October, I fancy them to do similar this time around, and maybe scrape a CL place.

Or even down the path of Newcastle if they dont sort out their ownership issues.Schards#2 wrote:I can't see Liverpool getting close to Champions League qualification which, in turn, feeds the downward spiral. There going to be in Everton/Villa territory from now on - Europa League qualification and the occassional cup final.
Great work Rafa - a massively overrated manager

That's probably right but Chelsea's early fixtures v West Brom,West Ham etc have not been exactly daunting.roadrunner wrote:The Premier League is a one horse race this season. Even United are miles behind Chelsea.

When I said United were miles behind Chelsea, I meant more so in terms of strength and depth, but agree yes, the early fixtures have been more favourable to Chelsea. They are so strong this season, and they're happy to continue spending when others around them (Man City excluded) are more careful with their money and are falling further behind.Victor Meldrew wrote:That's probably right but Chelsea's early fixtures v West Brom,West Ham etc have not been exactly daunting.roadrunner wrote:The Premier League is a one horse race this season.
